Rise Above - BOYS

Service Description

Rise Above is an 8-week therapeutic group designed to support teens as they navigate the challenges of depression. With separate groups for boys and girls, the program provides a safe and supportive environment to foster emotional resilience and self-growth. Each 90-minute session combines psychoeducation, interactive activities, and open discussions, focusing on essential topics such as: - Understanding emotions and building emotional regulation skills - Combating negative self-talk and developing self-compassion - Strengthening interpersonal relationships and effective communication - Exploring strategies for managing self-harm and suicidal ideation - Cultivating healthy coping mechanisms, self-care, and goal-setting The group runs for 8 weeks and begins on Thursday 20th February 2025. Once participants register for the group they will automatically be registered for all sessions and expected to attend. Costs associated with the group will cover all materials and light refreshments each week. **BOOKING ONLINE DOES NOT GAURANTEE A SPOT IN THE GROUP. PARENTS/GUARDIANS WILL BE NOTIFED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF REGISTRATION IF THE MINOR IN THEIR CARE IS A "GOOD FIT" FOR THE GROUP**
